| "Roti" means "Bread". Therefore, Rotiboy literally, means "Breadboy", a name very suitable for a bakery in multi-racial Malaysia. Rotiboy was founded in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Malaysia in 1998, driven by the Founder’s purpose in building an organisation that not only make life better for himself but also for the people and community around him.
In 2002, driven by the freshly baked "one bun that rule us all", Rotiboy started the "Bun Revolution" that went global from 2003 starting from Singapore. To date, we have baked more than 400 million buns and still baking in our 200 over stores with presence in Indonesia, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Myanmar and China.
Rotiboy installed Pi water system in 2015. It can improve the quality of our bread.

Importance of water in Japanese cuisine I think water is very important element in Japanese cuisine. To make soup stock “Dashi” is the primal step in preparing Japanese food. If there are 10 steps in Japanese recipe, the first and second steps are regarding soup stock. Without these steps, no Japanese cuisine will be made.
Soup stock “Dashi” with π-Water
In Japanese food, the first “Dashi”, soup stock is made with kelp and water.
When making it with π-Water, you can make with less amount of kelp than with other waters.
If you use the same amount of kelp, you can prepare the broth with π-Water earlier than other waters.
I understand it means π-Water takes good flavor from kelp earlier.
It is really amazing that “Dashi” with π-Water tastes better and has better flavor.
Garnish for sashimi raw fish
When cutting white radish julienne-style for preparing sashimi, the radish is sliced thinly into a long strip and cut into fine strips and soak in water to make them crisp.
The fine striped radishes are put into π-Water and they become crisp soon. I feel the very power of π-Water at that moment.
Leaf materials
Shriveled greens will become crisp soon after soaking in π-Water. Shredded cabbages regain the freshness by soaking in π-Water.

Fish preserving tank
When we used ordinary sea water for the fish tank, fishes like crabs and lobsters used to lose their weight early. So you had to consume them within several days.
After using π-Water system to the sea water in the fish preserving tank, they did not lose weight at all.
Crabs and lobsters live longer in the π-Water. You can keep them much longer.
The meat of fishes kept in π-Water tastes good and they are very fresh.
There is a special serving style of raw fish called “Arai” in Japanese cuisine. In this preparation raw fish fillet is sliced and chilled in icy water. It is one of my recommendations.
This restaurant has counter seats in front of a fish tank. Before using π-Water systems, we had sometimes complaints about smell of the tank. After using π-Water systems, we have no complains about smells at all. The water in the tank is kept clear and transparent longer than before. We used to change the water every other year. But actually the current water has been kept for more than two years and a half.

In our hotel big public bathes are popular among guests. The hot water in the bathes is usual water, but thanks to the treatment of π-Water most guests enjoy the public bathes like natural spa. They admire the quality of the hot water and say the water feels very smooth. For the water of pool, our guests say there is no smell of chlorine at all. So they like our pool.
Hotel staff had troubles of chapped skin especially in winter, but after changing to π-Water they have no troubles.

Mr. Yasue knew π-water when he worked for a national hospital. Then he studied about various herbal medicines and supplements for further possible applications to help patients and one day he found a book in a bookstore which he happened to drop into. That was a book about π-water. He got so interested in π-water and bought the book without delay.
Not acid, not alkaline, much closer to the natural water
Water is very important to prepare liquid medicines, Mr. Yasue says. "You need to remove chlorine and trihalomethane in tap water in order to use the water to prepare medicines. Furthermore, the better water is not acid or alkaline but should be close to neutral and even similar to waters in the nature. The Sakado Azuma Kindergarten is focusing on "education of eating". Children sow a field with vegetable seed, harvest in each season, and eat the crops by their own cooking. Through their eating the crops they raise, they know the nature, think of the farmers, and feel the linkage of human being and environment. To know the water, which is the origin of the all lives, is a part of the education.

The kindergarten has two Japanese bantams. Etsuko Suzuki, the director is mostly taken to by them.
Children will learn the importance of foods. It was 37 years ago Sakado Azuma Kindergarten opened. The philosophy is "Cultivate the independence and the consideration for others." They wish the children to take care of themselves and to think of the others.
